Our
kayaking programme is based at Rickmansworth Aquadrome
The
centre offers a safe and scenic introduction to the exhilarating
sports of windsurfing and canoeing, with a shop
to supply equipment to local clubs and enthusiasts.
If
you are looking to get into watersports then we can supply everything
you need both for hire and sale, and of
course our excellent tuition.
Out
of Town Action Sports is a R. Y .A. Recognised Teaching Establishment,
a B.C.U. approved centre, and is licensed with the A.A.L.A. to
run courses and taster session for young people.
Out
of Town Action sports is situated within the Aquadrome, part of
the Colne Valley Park. Easily accessible from London and the surrounding
counties we are just a few minutes from J17 of the M25 and a short
walk from Rickmansworth metropolitan line station.
The
ancient skills of canoeing and kayaking can be learnt by anyone
in the ideal conditions available on the lake. Touring and whitewater
trips are organised for the more proficient paddlers.
GETTING
ON THE WATER
Once
you have gained your BCU 1*, you can come down to our open sessions
on Saturday and Sunday and weekdays throughout the summer. You
can bring your own kayak and wetsuit or hire from us.

On
one of our popular Tuesday night sessions on local weirs and rapids.
